Will this work with removable adhesive hooks?
Yes. The jellyfish weighs very little, well within the weight capacity of most adhesive hooks (e.g. Command hooks rated for ~0.5 lb). Pair with the hook manufacturer's removal instructions to avoid surface damage when moving out.

My dorm policy restricts "string lights" or lights that plug in — does this qualify?
